Mission Statement

...offers co-ordination and communication among area groups and individuals who are working for peace and social justice.

...encourages culturally diverse projects by collaborating with affiliated groups that support activites and events reflective of our commitment to non-violent conflict resoultion.

...promotes through community education and awareness constructive alternatives to the violence that touches all of our lives.

About Us

The Center was formed in 1982 by several small groups that joined together to express their concerns regarding issues relating to peace and justice.

Today, many groups pool their efforts and resources so that the center can maintain a communication system that includes an office, email, website, and a monthly journal that reaches thousands of individuals.

We strive to do our part to make our community and the world a more peaceful and just place for all.
